Live Stream: Cylindrical Gear Design, Analysis and Optimization
The objective of this advanced training is to understand the fundamental theories for cylindrical gear design and analysis and to learn the application usages of KISSsoft. Participants will gain knowledge on how to interpret the gear rating, analyze reports and apply the software to improve gear design from the conceptual to the final design phase.
This training will take place online in 2 parts. Each part will consist of 3 consecutive morning sessions that start at 8:30 am and end at 12 pm as follows:
Live Stream Part 1
October 20, 2020: CET 08:30 am - 12 pm (Brussels)
October 21, 2020: CET 08:30 am - 12 pm (Brussels)
October 22, 2020: CET 08:30 am - 12 pm (Brussels)
Live Stream Part 2
October 27, 2020: CET 08:30 am - 12 pm (Brussels)
October 28, 2020: CET 08:30 am - 12 pm (Brussels)
October 29, 2020: CET 08:30 am - 12 pm (Brussels)
The training is designed for engineers who are already familiar with cylindrical gear calculations and basic functionalities of KISSsoft. If a participant has a lack of knowledge on gears or KISSsoft usages and user interface, we highly recommend going through the KISSsoft tutorials posted on our website before the training.
The full schedule is provided in the training program.
Hardware and software requirements
Registration will close on Friday, October 16, 2020. Before the start of the training, participants will receive a test version, electronic training documentation and an invitation link with information to join the Live Stream training.
