The main objective of this special training is to provide a solid understanding and handling of the COM interface and the internal Script tool. Participants will gain practical skills to efficiently execute tasks by using the COM interface and the Script editor within the KISSsoft® environment. The COM interface part of the training will be conducted in Visual Basic (Excel).
The training is aimed at engineers who have already worked with KISSsoft and want to control the software remotely via a COM interface or seek to enhance their skills in utilizing the Script functionalities in KISSsoft to automate various calculation tasks.

Topics
The first part of the training (session 1) covers the COM interface and the prerequisites for usage. With the help of examples, participants will learn how to find calculation variables, read and write data and execute calculations in KISSsoft remotely via Visual Basic (Excel). The examples will focus on the gear pair calculation.
The second part (session 2) covers key aspects of the KISSsoft internal programming language SKRIPT. The topics included are an introduction to the Script functionalities, exploration of the usage of Script through different events and the creation of customized user interfaces within KISSsoft.
