Gear Design in Closed-Loop

“Gleason Closed Loop” is a well-known term in the manufacturing community. The loop works between the manufacturing machine and the measurement system to provide an auto-corrective feedback. Optimum results – superior gear flank surface quality – is achieved by this.

With this approach, the design may be modified to fit to a manufacturing process or manufacturing process may be assessed for suitability to achieve desired gear performance at lowest costs.
