The KISSsoft® System Module performs integrated strength and lifetime calculations for all machine elements (gears, shafts, bearings and connections) simultaneously according to established standards such as ISO, DIN and AGMA.It precisely calculates the kinematics (speed, torque, power and losses) of complex systems, including CVT and power split transmissions. It supports load spectrum calculations at system level for all elements. Additional parameters like kinematic conditions or temperatures can also be included in the load spectrum.Furthermore, efficiency is determined by calculating all power losses (gear meshing, gear churning, bearings and seals). Thermal rating can be done with the additional calculation of heat dissipation from the system.Modal analysis, characteristic frequencies calculation and forced response analysis are available for dynamic investigation of vibration characterization, considering excitation sources like gear meshing forces. For more precise loaded tooth contact analysis, the consideration of housing stiffness via FEM import is provided.
