Shaft and Bearing Calculation

The main objective of this introductory training is to provide the basic handling and understanding of the KISSsoft software and its user interface teaching participants on the data entry and the calculation possibilities of shafts and bearings in order to operate and apply the software correctly and efficiently in the design process.

This basic training is targeting engineers who are new users of KISSsoft or do not work with KISSsoft that often.

The training takes place in 2 consecutive Live Stream sessions: 

For participants in Europe:  
October 16, 2023: CET 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm (Brussels)
October 17, 2023: CET 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm (Brussels)

For participants in parts of the Americas:
October 16, 2023: EST 8:00 am – 12:00 pm (New York)
October 17, 2023: EST 8:00 am – 12:00 pm (New York)


The main objective is to teach participants how to handle and operate the KISSsoft interface and introduce them to the underlying calculation methods and possibilities as well as some basic theory. With the help of prepared exercises, participants will learn how to find correct fields to enter the data for the calculation, how to handle different tabs and settings, and how to get the results from the calculations.
The training focuses on rolling bearings as this group is the one that is most commonly used.

You will need a notebook to actively participate in the training course. It is advantageous to have 2 screens, but this is not a prerequisite.

Registration deadline: October 11, 2023

Before the start of the training, participants will receive an actual test version, electronic training documentation and an invitation link to join the Live Stream training. 


Upon successful completion of the course, a certificate is issued.
