The target group are engineers who are familiar with KISSsoft and work with bevel gears in design and manufacturing.


Topics

During the training, several conventional cutting methods are shown which are used for straight, helical and spiral bevel gears. The geometry for bevel gears is defined and calculated according to ISO 23509, and the specialties of hypoid gears are shown. Further, the topics strength, sizing, analysis and optimization are explained for bevel and hypoid gears. Using the contact analysis, contact pattern and stresses are calculated and optimized, as well as EPG displacements determined and applied.

Important

Notebook
You will need a notebook to actively participate in the training course. It is advantageous to have 2 screens, but this is not a prerequisite.  
 
Registration
Registration will close on September 21, 2022. Before the start of the training, participants will receive an actual test version Release 2022, electronic training documentation and an invitation link to join the Live Stream training. After completion of the training, a training certificate will be issued.
