KISSdesign® is the new powerful system module to model and analyze entire transmissions. The objective of this training is to practice different kinematic concepts and settings on two real application gearboxes. The gearboxes will be set up step by step including load and geometry definitions.

The training is meant for design engineers, KISSsoft® and KISSsys® users who would like to model, analyse and calculate gearboxes using a system tool.

Participants should be familiar with the KISSdesign user interface and the different kinematic concepts presented in Build Part 1.

Date and Time

The training will take place in 2 consecutive sessions.

For participants in Europe:
April 10, 2024: CEST 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm (Brussels)
April 11, 2024: CEST 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm (Brussels)

For participants in parts of the Americas:
April 10, 2024: EDT 8:30 am - 12:00 pm (New York)
April 11, 2024: EDT 8:30 am - 12:00 pm (New York)

Topics

During this training two application gearboxes will be built up step by step. The first gearbox is a multistage gearbox with a planetary stage. The second gearbox presents a transmission including a compound planetary stage, a power split, a cvt unit, a bevel differential and shiftable power paths. Both gearboxes will be fully defined in terms of kinematics, positioning, system settings, load and geometry data.

Notebook
You will need a notebook to actively participate in the training course. For this training, we strongly recommend to use 2 screens in order to use the software and the Sketcher in its full functionality at the same time.

Registration deadline: April 8, 2024

The registration for this training is done via the website. Please select the training by placing it into the Cart. From there fill out all required information and submit your registration.

Before the start of the training, participants will receive an actual test version Release 2024, training documentation and an invitation link to join the Live Stream training.

Completion
Upon successful completion of the course, a certificate is issued.
