KISSdesign® is the new powerful system module to model and analyze entire transmissions. This training is about getting started with KISSdesign. Participants get an overview about the interface and basic functionalities including the explanation of all existing tools and settings for general model build up.

The training is meant for design engineers, KISSsoft® and KISSsys® users who would like to model, analyze and calculate gearboxes using a system tool.

Date and Time

The training will take place in 2 consecutive sessions.

For participants in Europe:
April 08, 2024: CEST 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm (Brussels)
April 09, 2024: CEST 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm (Brussels)

For participants in parts of the Americas:
April 08, 2024: EDT 8:30 am - 12:00 pm (New York)
April 09, 2024: EDT 8:30 am - 12:00 pm (New York)

Topics

The training starts with a general presentation of the KISSdesign interface. The KISSdesign tools and functionalities needed for model build up will be shown and explained. The main focus is placed on the Sketcher and its usage for different kinematic models. After the introduction of these basic concepts, the positioning of elements in space and the system settings are shown. Participants learn how to change existing geometries either by using sizing functionalities or by varying KISSsoft calculations in a model.

Notebook

You will need a notebook to actively participate in the training course. For this training, we strongly recommend to use 2 screens in order to use the software and the Sketcher in its full functionality at the same time.

Registration deadline: April 4, 2024
