Bevel Gear Calculation and Design with KISSsoft-GEMS

The design of bevel gears is closely related to the applied bevel gear cutting method. This home trainer session shows the complete process in the design and analysis of bevel gears using KISSsoft and GEMS, including the use of rating standards like ISO, DIN or AGMA or the consideration of manufacturing data such as cutter head size and blank dimensions during the design calculation. Furthermore, we demonstrate a contact analysis in GEMS and how the bevel gear displacement values EPG and Alpha are determined in the drivetrain design software. This webinar is jointly presented by our experts in bevel gear design and KISSsoft design software.

With our new Home Trainer LIVE Webinars we would like to support you in these difficult times and inform you about gear manufacturing technology trends and solutions, even at today’s rather unusual workplaces. Home Trainer Webinars are moderated live by gear technology experts including the possibility to ask questions via the integrated chat.

Participant data of our Home Trainer Webinars are treated confidentially and will not be published. Participation in the Home Trainer Webinars is free of charge.
